To solve the problem of small fault detection of instruments in process industry, independent components were extracted by Independent Component Analysis (ICA) from instruments recorded data. And independent component subspaces were established according to the contribution matrix. Fault detection model was constructed in each independent component subspace with statistical variables. A proper ensemble strategy was chosen by combining all the fault detection results. Finally, the instrument with fault was located by contribution algorithm. The simulation results with TE (Tennessee Eastman) process show that this method has higher precision on small fault detection and more flexibility with proper ensemble strategy.

To study the reachability of a class of nonlinear hybrid systems, this paper presented an verification method based on polyhedron inclusion. Firstly, some notions about hybrid systems and reachability were introduced. The method based on polyhedron inclusion was proposed to compute the linear approximation of polynomial hybrid systems. Quantifier elimination and nonlinear optimization method were applied to obtain the associated linear hybrid systems. Then the over-approximation of reachable set of original polynomial hybrid systems can be computed by using SpaceEx. Furthermore, the safety properties of the systems also can be verified.

Journal of Computer Applications    2011, 31 (10): 2880-2882.   DOI: 10.3724/SP.J.1087.2011.02880

A satellite antenna characterized by wide-beam, wide-bandwidth and microwave right-hand-circular polarization was designed. First, the Dynamic Dominant Evolution Algorithm (DDEA) was used to search globally on a parallel computing platform. Then orthogonal design and HFSS software based on finite element method were used to search within local scope evenly and elaborately, so that the antenna gain was further improved. The improved antenna meets the requirements on beam and saves the feeding power of satellite.

Journal of Computer Applications    2011, 31 (08): 2075-2078.   DOI: 10.3724/SP.J.1087.2011.02075

Due to the high dynamics of pervasive computing environment and the constraints of easy interruption and low transmission rate of wireless network, the overhead of context access is very huge. To solve these problems, a framework of context-aware system was proposed in this paper, and then a context caching replacement algorithm based on rules (RCRA) was introduced. The proposed algorithm determined whether to replace a context in the cache based on its access probability, timeliness and access history. When a new context was to get into the context cache, the algorithm was used to ensure that the latest and the most valuable context stayed in the cache. The experimental results show that the RCRA improves the hit rate and effectively reduces the overhead of context access. The RCRA is used in the rules-based context-aware system, and the algorithm has good utility.

Quality of Service (QoS) was introduced into semantic Web service in this paper. The authors analyzed the description of QoS ontology and the method of Web service discovery and the method of semantic Web service discovery, and established a general QoS model. Parameters of this model can measure almost all Web services. A semantic Web service discovery frame based on QoS was proposed. In the frame we firstly discover Web service by function, then evaluate the discovery Web service above based on QoS model, and lastly find out the best one. At the end of this paper, we established semantic ontology and QoS ontology with an instance.
